Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-20
Note: Mull is currently in free testing — there is nothing to pay and nothing to refund yet. This policy applies once paid subscriptions go live.
How billing works
Mull's paid subscription is sold through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record, processes the payment, handles VAT/GST, and issues your receipt. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy's own buyer terms and refund handling also apply to your purchase.
7-day money-back guarantee
If Mull isn't right for you, email hello@usemull.com within 7 days of your first payment and we'll arrange a full refund. You don't need to justify it. A sentence on what didn't work helps us improve the product, but it isn't required.
Canceling your subscription
You can cancel at any time. When you cancel:
- Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- You won't be charged again.
- Mull's paid features stop when the paid period ends.
We don't lock your data inside Mull — your transcripts and recordings are stored locally on your own Mac and remain yours after cancellation.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Lemon Squeezy emails a receipt for each renewal. If you don't want to renew, cancel before the renewal date. We don't generally refund a renewal you forgot to cancel — but if you contact us promptly after a renewal you didn't intend, email us and we'll try to be reasonable.
How to request a refund
Email hello@usemull.com with either:
- the email address used at purchase, or
- the Lemon Squeezy order ID from your receipt.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Lemon Squeezy. Depending on your bank, this typically takes a few business days to appear.
After the 7-day window
Refunds outside the 7-day window are at our discretion and aren't guaranteed. But if something has clearly gone wrong on our side — a bug we caused, a change that broke your setup — email us and we'll make it right.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country (for example, EU/UK distance-selling rights). Where local law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.
