Release the key and the text is already there — typically 0.3 to 0.4 seconds. That gap is small enough that dictation stops feeling like a tool you switch to and starts feeling like typing. It works because Mull streams your speech to a fast transcription service as you talk, instead of waiting until you finish.
Mull types text wherever your cursor is — Cursor, VS Code, Slack, Notion, Bear, Gmail in a browser, a commit message in a terminal. It uses the same macOS accessibility path a keyboard does, so there's no per-app integration to wait for.
Mull runs on Deepgram's Nova-3 model, which handles multiple languages well — including Russian — and holds up against non-native accents. If you write professionally in a language you didn't grow up speaking, this is the part that matters.
Mull adds punctuation and capitalization for you, so dictated text reads like written text. You speak the sentence; you don't narrate the grammar.
Dictation is what Mull does every day. But the same engine handles longer audio, too.
Capture a call — your mic and the other side's audio — and Mull transcribes it with speaker labels and writes a short summary: what was discussed, what was decided, what needs doing. It works with Zoom, Meet, Teams, or anything else playing through your Mac. No bot joins the call.
Have a recording, a voice memo, an interview, a podcast episode? Hand the file to Mull and get back a clean transcript and summary. Length isn't a problem — Mull streams the file through instead of loading it whole.
